Build Relationships With Other Businesses To Reach Your Target Market!
Would you like to find a target market of potential customers so you aren’t wasting your resources on random marketing activities? Building relationships with other non-competitive businesses can help you reach your target market more quickly.
Here is a helpful marketing strategy to consider.
Start by asking yourself two questions:
- What do people really want to buy from me?
- What related products are they already buying?
Once you have the answers to these questions, you will know who is more predisposed to purchase your products/services. Take this information and research other (non-competitive) businesses that have the same customer base as you so you can contact them and see if they would be interested in partnering with you and your customer base.
Call these businesses and set up a meeting to discuss how you can work together to encourage both of your customer bases to shop at both businesses.
Here is the concept: You want to find existing businesses that have the customer profile that you are looking for to market your product/services. Then strike up a relationship with those business owners to work out a way for customers to purchase from both businesses. Think of ways that you can provide incentives to get customers to shop at each business. As a result, both businesses will have a bigger audience to market to and you will have grown your network in a positive way.
Partnering with other businesses that share your target market is a smart and efficient way to market your products and services. Work closely with people and develop a rapport with them. When you have allies on your side, you will get much further than if you tried to go about things alone. Just make sure that you return the courtesy and help your friends and colleagues by providing them with what they need as well.
